Commercial Real Estate Internship

Our team is consistently sourcing new opportunities for our client list as well as serving as a disposition channel for owners of commercial real estate investments. Candidates filling this position will learn critical skills required for originating and the preliminary analysis of acquisition targets for internal and external clients in a real-world environment, and obtain direct experience with the systems and transferable tools we use to deliver maximum value to our clients.

Interns work closely with our company’s leadership team to gain extensive and practical knowledge of business strategy and our tools of the trade. All of our past interns are now with market-leading companies due in some part to their experience with us.

Objectives

Assist in sourcing, and evaluating, potential and new acquisitions/opportunities (research and phone verification will be required).

Update existing data base with necessary information, support new acquisitions – due diligence

Research and analyze data – demographic, market, sector, and property

Assist in other special projects as they may arise

Become an expert in concepts of data manipulation

Practice of complete and accurate data entry

Solid grasp of Cash Flow Projection and manipulation models

Pricing Opinions and underwriting of commercial properties

Qualifications

Demonstrated interest in real estate, finance, business, or related area, with a desire to learn

Strong computer skill – particularly with Excel and PowerPoint

Excellent written and oral communication, attention to detail, quantitative, and analytical skills

Enjoy working under time constraints and ability to excel under pressure

A critical thinker, and self-starter, capable of accomplishing a task with limited guidance and supervision

Recently completed or currently pursuing a degree in Real Estate, Business, Finance or related field

Compensation

We offer paid internships based on qualifications of the candidate and time commitment.

All interns receive a first rate experience and education in real estate.
