Glendale Arizona is one of the largest cities in Arizona with an estimated 2014 population of 236,000 residents and is home of the University of Phoenix Stadium and the Gila River Arena, the two largest entertainment venues in Phoenix hosting the NFL’ s Arizona Cardinals and the NHL’ s Phoenix Coyotes. Further more, downtown Glendale, with a 3 mile population of 206,582, is an under-served market with very limited retail alternatives in the immediate area. The shopping center sits on the edge of the antiquing district of downtown Glendale, and is one of a few shopping centers servicing the large daytime work population in the immediate area.
